“Madad Charitable Foundation” representing a section of city Eminent Residents from various walk of life & Bikram Singh Majithia, Ex. Cabinet Minister, Government Of PUNJAB on Wednesday 24-Oct-2018 flagged off relief material meant for the 100 families of the victims of the gruesome train tragedy that took place at Joda Phatak, Amritsar on 19-Oct-2018 in which DMU train plowed into a crowd of 500 Dussehra revellers who had spilled over to railway tracks leading to 61 people dead and more than hundred injured.
Relief material consisting 100 Bags of grocery items, like wheat flour, sugar, salt, vegetable oil and other essential items costing INR 5 Lacs (Approx.) was arranged by M/s Madad Charitable Foundation.
